I am a Brown University grad who spent fifteen years working in advertising and marketing before going back to school to become licensed as a travel agent.  I launched Annie’s Escapes Custom Travel Planning in January 2006 and have been helping clients explore the world since then!

As an “Escape Artist”, I focus on honeymoonsdestination weddings, and milestone celebrations like birthdays and anniversaries.  I love the challenge of creating unique, custom-tailored itineraries to Europe, Hawaii, South and Central America, Tahiti, and the Caribbean. I was the first Adventure Travel Specialist in Rhode Island; a charter member of the Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialists Association; and am a long-time member of the Rhode Island Wedding Group. I am frequently quoted in local bridal magazines (Southern New England Weddings, Newport Weddings, Rhode Island Monthly’s Engaged and more) as an expert on honeymoons and destination weddings, I was voted the Best Honeymoon Planner in Rhode Island in 2017 and 2018, and I travel as much as possible to stay up-to-date on all the most exciting destinations.

First vacation memory: Piling in the station wagon for summer vacations in the Hamptons

Favorite “escape”:  Changes constantly! As of today, I’d say it was my safari in South Africa…but ask me again tomorrow

Top on my Bucket List:  Australia

I am thrilled to be a part of the Annie’s Escapes team!  I love what you can learn and experience through travel, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to help others do the same.

I have been an avid traveler all my life, having lived abroad even before I turned one.  I met Ann while planning my wedding in 2013 and for the first time let a professional book my travel plans!  Since then, she has booked two of my vacations and countless other trips for many of my friends and family.

I began working with Ann as an independent contractor for Annie’s Escapes in the summer of 2015 and have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to combine my experiences and passions into building the Annie’s Escapes brand.  My personal experiences abroad – having lived in or traveled to more than twenty countries – give me a unique insight into the travel industry.  And with a Communication Arts degree from Gordon College and a professional background in event planning, I understand the importance of details – whether planning for a wedding, honeymoon, or group vacation.  I love using my skillset to help others plan their own memorable “escapes!”

First milestone vacation: Traveling with seven of my family members to Paris when I was twelve

Favorite “escape”:  Spending a whole semester in Edinburgh, Scotland – it is hard to beat six months of living abroad!

Top on my Bucket List:  New Zealand and Australia

I was lucky enough to take many family trips as a young child growing up.  If not for travel as a youth, I wouldn’t have the passion for travel I do today.  Now in my adult life, I have the pleasure of sharing similar experiences from traveling with my wife and two young kids.  It is such an amazing feeling to share these experiences with them and watch the look in their eyes the first time they experience things.

Although I love all travel, I personally have a real love for cruising and anything Disney.  You can regularly find me planning and researching for my next Disney trip or Cruise.  Whether I am planning what activity to do on an island, or which character breakfast or Fast Pass reservations I need to make, I am always planning something for my next trip.  Many people don’t like the planning part of trips or some just don’t have the time for it, but I really find it truly rewarding to do.

This love for planning and travel eventually pointed me down the road I am on today.  After graduating from Molloy College, I have been working in the aviation industry for the last 10 years, and then began working as a travel agent.  After some time, my path crossed with Ann and I have recently joined Annie’s Escapes as an independent contractor.  I look forward to helping you make your next vacation full of lifelong memories.

First vacation memory: Family Vacation to “Amish Country”(Lancaster), Pennsylvania

Favorite “escape”:  Southern Caribbean Cruise – Specifically the islands of St. Kitts and Grenada

Top on my Bucket List:  New Zealand and Tahiti

I am thankful to be part of the Annie’s Escapes team. My job is to provide administrative support and make sure all paperwork is complete so people can focus on enjoying their “escape”.

Currently, I live in Rhode Island, where I work full-time at the library at Providence College.  My undergraduate degree is in Computer Information Systems, but my passion is research, books and travel (and my dogs!)  My goal at Annie’s Escapes is to put my advanced research skills to use and assist Annie and her team with creating dream vacations.

I have traveled extensively to the Caribbean and took an impromptu trip to Europe after graduating college. Most recently, I was lucky enough to travel to Treasure Cay in the Abacos of the Bahamas, just three months before Hurricane Dorian devastated those beautiful islands. Swimming with the pigs will be an experience I won’t soon forget.

First Vacation memory: summer trips to our cabin on Moosehead Lake in Maine and winter vacations in St. Thomas and St. John.

Favorite “escape”: My favorite trip (so far) was a weeklong boat trip to the British & U.S. Virgin Islands. Drinking my morning coffee while floating in the Caribbean is how I would love to start each day.

Top on my bucket list: Being a history buff, I want to visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France.

“Life is meant for good friends and great adventures” is a quote I’ve lived by for most of my life.  I have always tried to combine my work with my passion for travel. After seeing the amazing reviews and stories from her clients, I reached out to Annie’s Escapes to see how I could become involved.  I am thrilled to be part of the Annie’s Escapes team! I love the experience of learning and growing through travel from seeing the wonders of the world to finding the hidden gems. So, I am very thankful to use my skills to encourage travel and continue to build the Annie’s Escapes brand.

Originally from Arizona, I earned a degree in stage management from Knox College.  I have spent the past seven years traveling the world and working as a professional stage manager for tours and on cruise ships. Through work and personal travel, I have visited over twenty-five countries and strongly believe travel is an important part of life. Following dreams of living abroad, I recently made the leap to living in Italy. I am looking forward to exploring all of Italia (and the rest of Europe) in between work.  With my experience as a logistics master and a true love of paperwork, I am thrilled to be helping Annie’s Escapes connect with fellow travelers and continue to focus on planning amazing adventures.

First vacation memory: Driving seven hours with my family from AZ to La Jolla, CA to visit the beach and the seals.

Favorite “escape”: My biggest trip to Europe and the UK- twelve countries in six weeks with one of my best friends.

Top on my Bucket List: It’s always changing but at the moment Japan is at the top of my list
